Service Description
This is Zentangle. It's more than art - there's a whole wonderful philosophy behind and around it that helps people to focus, relax, discover their own inner artist and lose that inner critic that gives negative feedback. Annie will introduce you to the principles of this form of drawing, showing you how to add sparkle, shade and detail to a number of different patterns. Each workshop will introduce new techniques, ideas and inspiration. Materials listed below are available to purchase from Cass Art with a 10% discount. All other materials will be provided. Saturday November 19th - a seasonal set of ideas, including the illusion of making gemstones and tangling on words, which will give you some inspiration for Christmas. Material: 0.1 black micron pen; 2B pencil; a notebook; an old book or page of text, music, poetry etc. Saturday December 17th - we will create some ZenBirds, which are whimsical, cute and utterly irresistible! Material: 0.1 micron pen, 2B pencil, a notebook; watercolour paper (Cass Art's postcard paper is great for this class!) It is suitable for anyone from the age of 8+ and you don't need to be an artist to do it. No need to cancel or let me know if you can't attend. Please note: these recordings are for your personal use only and cannot be shared.
