Tranzending Zentangle

Service Description

A two-hour workshop aimed at understanding and practising some of the beautiful tranzending techniques used in producing ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art). In the first part of the workshop, we will cover the original Zentangle technique demonstrated by Rick and Maria in one of their Kitchen Table Tangle workshops. For this, I recommend you have to hand one or two completed Zentangle tiles or drawings that you are happy to 'add to' using this technique. In the second part of the workshop, we will explore the technique developed and shared by Anica Gabrovec CZT of Zen.Linea. I will take you through the steps to create a background over which we will add tangles and colour. Anica is super generous in her sharing of this technique and whilst I use the concept here, I am not recreating any of her specific patterns or tile patterns. For this part of the workshop, you will need a Renaissance or tan tile, or any paper with a stronger colour that will take a small amount of water. Also essential is a Gelly Roll White pen, size 0.8 or 10. Materials needed in addition are fine black Micro pen, or similar. Pencil 2B and blending tool. White chalk pencil and watercolour crayons or similar in a few different colours. You may want to take notes or make sketches in a notebook. En la segunda parte del taller, exploraremos la técnica desarrollada y compartida por Anica Gabrovec CZT de Zen.Linea. Te llevaré a través de los pasos para crear un fondo sobre el cual agregaremos enredos y color. Anica es muy generosa al compartir esta técnica y aunque uso el concepto aquí, no estoy recreando ninguno de sus patrones específicos o patrones de mosaico. Para esta parte del taller, necesitarás una tesela Renacimienta o tipo kraft, o cualquier papel con un color más fuerte que tomará una pequeña cantidad de agua. También es esencial una pluma Gelly Roll White, tamaño 0.8 o 10. Los materiales necesarios además son micro bolígrafo negro fino o similar. Lápiz 2B y difumino. Lápiz de tiza blanca y crayones de acuarel en varios colores.
