What is Steampunk? Think Jules Verne, H.G.Wells, think Victorian era concepts of time travel in the future, think American Wild West goes SciFi...I could go on. It's complex and fascinating if you like intricate detail, touches of fantasy, whimsy, mechanical and industrial images combined with what Wikipedia calls 'retro-futurism'. Get the picture? This is primarily a workshop although we will work on a piece in the second part of the class. Material required include a notebook or sketchbook, a Renaissance tile and/or Bijou Zentangle tile or other paper, such as recycled or kraft paper/card. Fine black pen, 2B pencil and blending tool, white Gelly Roll pen. Outside Europe, please pay in £s through PayPal. Within Europe, please pay by Bank Transfer in euros.
